02. SEND & APPROVE

Ship your jewelry to us. Once received, our team will conduct a thorough assessment and send you an email with the details and coverage confirmation.

03. RECEIVE

Approve the service plan, and we’ll begin the restoration process. Your beautifully renewed jewelry will be delivered to you within 6–8 weeks.

What does the Galaxy Star Protection Plan cover?

Our protection plan covers manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship. It does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or loss/theft.

How long is my jewelry covered under protection plan?

The duration of your jewelry warranty depends on the protection plan you choose. We offer flexible coverage options, including 1-year, 2-year, 3-year and Lifetime (coverage for 10 years) Plans. Your warranty begins from the date of purchase and is valid for the length of the plan selected at checkout.

What is considered a manufacturing defect?

A manufacturing defect refers to flaws caused during production, such as loose or poorly set stones, weak prongs, cracks in the metal, faulty soldering, uneven rhodium plating, or defective clasps.

What is not covered under the Protection Plan?

  • Neglect or misuse – Damage from abuse, mishandling, or failing to follow care instructions.
  • Items not under warranty – Products not originally covered by Galaxy Star warranty or sold "as-is" (e.g., demos, floor models).
  • Warranty overlaps – Issues already covered by the manufacturer’s warranty or external insurance.
  • Altered items – Damage or issues resulting from unauthorized or improper repairs done by someone other than the retailer or approved service provider.
  • Cosmetic wear – minor damage from routine use - scratches, dents, wear on finishes.
  • Environmental or external causes – Fire, theft, weather, natural disasters, animals, civil unrest, etc.
  • Commercial use – Items used for business, rental, or institutional purposes.
  • Untraceable issues – Damage not reported during the coverage term or where no problem is found.
  • Excluded parts/items – Customer-supplied stones, inherently flawed gemstones, consumable parts, or free gifts.
  • Lost or Stolen- If the entire piece is lost or stolen, the plan does not cover replacement or reimbursement.

How do I start a Protection Plan claim?

To start your plan claim, simply email starwarsfinejewelry@renaissanceglobal.com or call (947) 218 7827. After a quick intake, you'll ship your jewelry for assessment. Once approved, restoration begins, and your item will be returned within 2–3 weeks.

Will my jewelry be repaired or replaced?

Your jewelry will typically be repaired whenever possible. If the damage cannot be reasonably repaired or the original components are unavailable, we may offer a replacement of equal quality and value, depending on the terms of your protection plan.

What if I don’t have my proof of purchase?

If you don’t have your proof of purchase, we may still be able to locate your order using other details such as your name, email address, or phone number used at the time of purchase. Please contact our support team, and we’ll do our best to assist you in verifying your coverage.

How do I add Galaxy Star Protection Plan?

During the checkout process, simply add your plan on each jewelry piece.

Does the Protection Plan cover the entire order?

Your plan is on a per-item basis.

What if I need to return my product?

If the return is within 30 days, you will receive a full refund on the warranty. If a return or plan cancellation takes place after 30 days, the refund will be on a prorated basis.

How long before I can process a claim?

There is a 30 day waiting period from the time of purchase before processing a claim.
